I decided I wanted to become a therapist after my senior year in high school. This calling became clear to me as I healed in my own therapy. I wanted to dedicate my career by helping others in recovery, just as I had been helped.

I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Northwest Missouri State University (Go Bearcats!) and my Master of Social Work at the University of Kansas.

My areas of clinical interest are eating disorders, anxiety disorders and mood disorders. I work to specialize in these areas because I suffered and recovered from an eating disorder and have a profound amount of empathy and respect for those who have fought or are fighting this battle. Secondly, I am wired highly sensitive and anxious, so I have had do a lot of work myself to learn to manage in this noisy world. I feel passionate about helping you or your loved one do the same.

The clients I work with describe me as relational, energetic, and compassionate. I strive to enter each session with a non-judgmental, gentle and curious spirit.
